A Malaysian airlines aircraft was lost but no one knows where it went. Malaysian airlines had two New Zealand passengers on board and two people with stolen passports. There was one radio call before it just vanished into thin air and it also went past it’s point where it was supposed to land. The number to the missing aircraft was MH370.

There were lots of people that think they saw the missing aircraft.One of the men at an oil factory in the middle of the ocean though they saw a plane on fire going towards the sea. There was also a person that saw a piece of scrap metal that could have fallen off the plane that could be a clue to the missing flight.       
The people have been looking for days for the aircraft. All They have found is debry in different places. It’s even been on one side of malaysia and then the other. Malaysian airlines does not know where It had crash landed or landed.

The Australian navy and a New Zealand plane have been looking for days and night. There has been sightings of debris everywhere no one knows where it could have crashed. New Zealand has been searching day and night for the plane but all they have found are pecas of metal just floating in the water.

What is empathy?

Why is it important to show empathy toward others? By being kind and helping them out when they need help. Sharing your stuff with them and letting them play

What does it mean to “put yourself in someone else’s shoes”? Feel how other people feel when they're sad or happy. Cheer them up if there sad.

What does that have to do with empathy? Helping them out through difficult times. Like some who passed away in their family.

What can you do to show empathy toward another person? Helping them out when they need help. Playing games like touch with them.

Make a popplet or Google drawing a displaying ways that you can reach out to others.

Think of a time when you hurt someone’s feelings. Describe what happened. When I accidently bumped into a little kid and made him cry. Because I was running fast.

How did you know you hurt the person’s feelings? Because He was crying. In a corner

How did you feel about the situation? I felt unhappy and sad. I also felt bad because he cried.

What did you do to make the situation better? I helped him up from the ground. Then started playing with him on the playground.  

Discuss how you think your school would change if all of the students showed empathy toward each other. There wouldn't be as much crying and fights happening as much. There would be more people helping each other out.

Do you think it would be a big change or a small change? I think a small change. Also less fighting and more learning.

Why do you think so? Because Not much people are mean to each other as much as last year. So the school has already changed allot.

Prize giving

Yesterday we had prize giving. The juniors witch are the years 1 - 4 Where in the after lunch and the seniors witch are the years 5 - 8. I was in the Senior prize giving. I did the year seven dance and we did Fresh prince of belier. I was on the second row to the front. There was acting and dancing In our performance. I liked our performance Because The acting was funny and the dance was fun.

The best performance to me was the year 8 performance Because they sang and danced and the boys and girls all did different dances and all sang a song at the end of the song. The boys Dance was probably the best dance because they all did it at the right timing and none of them where off time.

I got to see almost everyones dance apart from the juniors. I had a lot of laughs watching some of the dances.
